Who I Am

I'm Dejah Payne, a middle-aged 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ woman currently residing in the Mid-Atlantic United States. I write, draw, take photos, make zines, meditate, and walk other people's dogs. My fiancée claims I make her laugh.

What I'm Writing About

For this blog, I've so far written about nature, walking, thrifting, book collecting, creativity, and mindfulness.

My Manifesto

With this blog, I aim to scratch my itch to share, freely with discernment and goodwill, parts of myself in prose without commercial pressures or concerns, writing first and foremost for the joy of writing. Along this path, I will shed that which no longer serves or reflects me, thus finding freedom in ephemerality. These principles extend to all my creative endeavors.
