Peachy Pink
I saw a ten dollar pack of water-based brush markers containing colors I didn't already have: botanical blue-greens, olive yellows, and peachy pinks. Immediately, my head swam with ideas.
Creatively, I don't have a whole lot of needs these days. I have all the writing and art supplies I require for most projects. Aside from the occasional restock or replacement, I rarely have to buy anything, largely thanks to minimalist ideals and decades of accumulating as I go.
Still though, when I fall into a rut, something as simple as experimenting with a new tool (or color) can be just the stimulation I need. And even when money is tight, as it has been lately, money spent on art supplies is almost always money well invested in myself. So, on occasion, I will begrudgingly treat myself.
I bought the markers.
